Purchasing vehicles from Island Car is easy. We have a list of vehicles ranging from
sedans and sports cars to vans, wagons, and trucks. Simply click on our inventory link and a list will appear
showing details about each car. If a particular model interests you, click on the link to request for a sale representative.

For all prices please quote CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) in Singapore Dollars -
this means the cost of the vehicle and all incidentals involved with landing the car
at your destination (stuffing, towing storage, etc). For your convenience, here is a link to

Please note that all costs associated with taking the vehicle out of the port are
borne by the buyer (such as import duty, unstuffing the containers, etc). Please be
sure to consult your local shipping agents and customs for more information regarding
unloading charges.
How to buy vehicle not listed in Stock?
If the car that you are looking for is not listed, simply email us at
sales@islandcar.com.sg
and quote us the vehicles (Year, Make, Model and indicative Price -
please quote CIF SGD) and we will contact you shortly.
What is the payment method?
Upon confirming your vehicles Island Car
will fax you an invoice describing the
car and price agreed. The invoice will have
our Bank Account details. Payments are due
from the day a vehicle has been confirmed and are remitted via Telegraphic Transfer
direct to our account. Your local Bankers will assist you in the process.
Island Car
usually quotes cars CIF. CIF stands for Cost Insurance and Freight. It means Island
Car will bear the associated local charges like stuffing, trucking, towing, storage
along with the shipping costs incurred. This essentially gives you a landed costs -
making it easier to calculate taxes etc that are associated with imports.

How is my shipment
being prepared?
Upon your payment confirmation, your vehicle(s) will be prepared for shipment to the
desired port on the next available ship. We will inform you the carrier your shipment is
placed on, along with the estimated time of arrival. This is to faciliate smooth transition
of your shipment tracking and shipment release.
Therefore, it is important to have your contact information as listed below:
- Full name
- Address
- Telephone
- Fax number
Please relay us this information to avoid any delays or inconveniences.
How do I clear my
shipment from the port?
Upon receipt of full payment, Island Car
will surrender the BL and fax you a copy.
With that copy, you can simply head down to the appointed freight forwarding
(Do contact them in advance to avoid any inconveniences), hand them a copy of the BL
and they will then release your shipment.
It is highly recommended that you contact your local shipping agents individually
for more information.
